I'm still not sure where this wasps nest fell from- I found it in our yard under a tree and noticed it before I nearly stepped on it. Wasps are usually unwelcome guests when we eat outdoors, swarming our food and making the kids run for cover. But I couldn't help notice this nest and think about what part they play in the life cycle. Can't say I really know what they do, but with the shortage of honey bees and the impact that can have, no doubt these guys are around for a reason too.
